Job Description
North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT is looking to hire a Full-Time Private Brands Supply Chain Assistant to join our team. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self. As a Private Brands Supply Chain Assistant at North 40, you play a key role in assisting the Supply and Innovation Managers with the maintenance and management of inventory and data.
This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm. This shift may include working weekends and certain holidays based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Product & Supplier Information Management
- Oversee the item setup process, ensuring a consistent and detailed approach to building the item data catalog within our ERP systems. Including management of UPC’s, part numbers, and proper item descriptions.
- Optimize and maintain item attributes, pricing, descriptions, category classifications, and seasonal item status.
- Handle vendor setup and maintenance of vendor profiles and key information (terms, lead times, contact info, etc.).
- Purchasing
- Creation of purchase orders in collaboration with category product teams, production, and suppliers on submission and maintenance of new and active purchase orders.
- Track purchase orders and regularly communicate ETAs for incoming shipments.
- Manage purchase orders against final production quantities and costing. Reviewing vendor packing lists and invoices against original purchase orders for accuracy.
- Review inventory data to identify risks and opportunities for improving sell-through and driving sales.
- Support logistics and supply chain operations, including booking and tracking shipments.
- Assist with accounts payable processes, ensuring invoices match purchase orders and BOMs, and all final costs are approved and properly recorded.
- Sales & Inventory Analysis
- Maintain and regularly update Category Sales & Inventory Reports.
- Provide timely data and insights to help product teams make informed decisions on inventory levels, sales performance, and potential risks or opportunities
