Job Summary:
NorthAmCon LLC is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Outside Salesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, establishing and maintaining client relationships, and promoting our products or services to prospective customers. This position requires exceptional communication skills, strong negotiation capabilities, and a dedicated passion for sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Establish relationships with target customers
- Deliver presentations of current and new products to both existing and target customers
- Participate in trade shows and industry associations to identify opportunities for revenue growth
- Monitor industry trends to identify new opportunities
- Contribute to marketing strategies for specific industry or market segments
- Generate and submit sales reports to management
- Engage in the negotiation process to successfully close sales contracts
- Monitor competitor products and sales activities to provide feedback for management and marketing teams
- Follow established sales strategies, while proposing new approaches to attract additional customers
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize sales efforts
Qualifications:

Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years, 10 years preferred, of experience as an Outside Salesperson role for Conveyance, Material Handling, Power Transmission, or related industry
- Knowledge of industry performance, trends, and market conditions
- Proficiency in using CRM software, social media, AI, Microsoft Suite, and other lead generation tools
- Understanding of marketing strategies for specific industry or market segments
Ability to Implement:
- Strong ability to identify and pursue qualified targets
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse audiences
- Willingness to travel as required, estimated minimum 30% overnight
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to generate and submit sales reports to management
- Ability to monitor competitor products and sales activities to provide feedback
