Northampton Country Club is looking to hire a bartender for our restaurant and events areas. Shifts would include weekdays, weekends and holidays. Job duties include but are not limited to stocking the bar for service, preparing drinks for the membership and their guests, providing service drinks, and prepping area for the evening shift. Northampton Country Club's bar is a full-service bar so food knowledge and point of sale experience is required.
JOB SUMMARY:
Prepare and serve alcohol and non-alcohol beverages to members and guests. Assure that bar is adequately stocked. Maintain highest standards of personal appearance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspect banquet bar prior to event and ensure that adequate supplies are available

Stock bar based upon size of event

Prepare garnishes, juices, and mixers

Stock glassware and bar supplies. Fill ice bins. Provide trash receptacles

Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to NCC standards

Maintain a neat and clean bar area

Greet members and guests cordially and professionally

Develop complete knowledge of banquet package including all House pours

Set up full-service bars at prescribed areas in the club. This may include tables, clothes, spirits, wine, beer, soda, mixers, and all bar supplies

Break down bar and return all supplies and equipment to storage

Knowledgeable and efficient with POS

Assist with wine pours

Advise manager of any complaints or issues as they occur

Keep record of consumption based upon manager’s instructions

On occasion, handle cash and reconcile sales at end of event

Clean, restock, and secure banquet bar at end of shift
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
RAMP Certification or ability to pass RAMP Certification test
Prior experience preferred
