What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Resource LVN - American Canyon Primary Care (Full Time, Day) position at NorthBay Health?
At NorthBay Health the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for providing direct patient care in support of a provider in an ambulatory care setting. Distribution of staff and patients may require reassignment to other nursing areas. The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for monitoring and auditing clinic operations to ensure adherence to regulatory and professional standards.

Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Completion of accredited LVN Program.
Licensure/Certification:
- Current California LVN license.
- IV certified, or obtains IV certification within 60 days of hire.
- Current certification in AHA or equivalent CPR.
Experience:
- One year’s experience in ambulatory care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated effective time management skills.
- Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing ambulatory nursing care as appropriate for patients in the following age groups: Geriatric, Adult, Young Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal.
- Demonstrate performance by adhering to established policies and procedures and exhibiting the defined characteristics associated with attendance and punctuality.
Hours of Work:
- Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 and 5:30 or based on business need.
Compensation:
- Hourly Salary Range Min $37.51 - Max $41.36 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
