Mammography Tech I- NBMC Radiology -Full Time

 We are interested in your application if you have graduated from an  AMA approved mammography course , receive you Mammography Tech license within in 6 months of hire and have 1year of X-Ray experience

Bay Health the Radiology/Mammography Technologist I Observes prior to license, once license received, performs radiographic and mammographic studies. Produces radiographs and organizes images, completes the required paperwork and charges. Responsible for patient safety and wellbeing during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Assists with clerical duties and mammography regulatory tasks. Reports all equipment malfunctions. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use.

1. Education: Graduate of an AMA approved mammography course.                 
2. Licensure/Certification: Current California Radiographic and Mammographic Technologist licensure obtained within 6 months of hire.
3. Experience: At least one year of experience in x-ray.
4. Skills: Basic clerical and computer experience.

7. Physical Effort: Attendance is an essential function of the job. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to assist moving patients. Capable of carrying a weight of thirty pounds a distance of fifty feet.

Compensation: Hourly salary range MIN $59.71- $69.10 MAX (offered hourly rate is based on years of experience)
