What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Transporter ( Per Diem, Variable Shifts) position at NorthBay Health?
At NorthBay Health the Patient Transporter under the supervision of the Radiology, provide timely, and efficient general transport of patients between nursing units and the department of Diagnostic Imaging. Assist nursing or imaging staff in preparing patients for examinations and assists staff in discharging patients.

- Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Licensure: Current AHA or equitant BLS card.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting is favorable. Excellent emotional intelligence and communication. Reliable time-management and punctuality
- Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills including legible handwriting, demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to courteously interact with the public and co-workers, and presents self in a professional manner
Compensation: Hourly range $25.83 - $31.50 per diem differential included in rate ( based on years of experience in role)
