Job Details
The Clinical Nurse (RN) has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care according to the philosophy and goals / objectives of the Department of Nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all patients assigned to his / her care. Utilizes Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring and Relationship Based Care in nursing practice. Supports the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization.
Job Requirements
Current California RN License BLS Certification Completion of annual organizational requirements for employment.
Schedule Information
Contract Length : 90 days Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills required.
Unit Specific Information
Utilizes effective communication skills to facilitate safe patient hand offs. Documents nursing care per hospital policies.
Additional Details
Physical Effort : Requires lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and fine motor skills. Accountable to meet or exceed unit and organizational goals. Contributes to positive patient care experience through individual interactions with patients and families.
