What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nurse Midwife (Full Time, Days) position at Northbay?
At NorthBay Health the OB-GYN APRN; Certified Nurse Midwife supports the NorthBay Obstetrics and Gynecology department in providing low risk antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care, pre-conception, family planning, routine gynecology, and well woman care. The OB-GYN APRN; CNM will provide routine prenatal care to pregnant women from point of entry into care through delivery and the immediate post partum period. Care is provided under the direction of the supervising physician (CWH Medical Director, DOD and/or on-call OB Hospitalist).
Certified Nurse Midwife will support patient as an in clinic provider with hospital privileges to take L&D patients during shifts.

Qualifications:
1. Education: Master’s graduate of an accredited nursing program which includes a WHNP/Nurse Midwifery Program.
2. Licensure/Credentials: Current California licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife; Board Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board. Current AHA or equivalent BLS card. Maintains a current Furnishing Number for prescribing medications.
3. Experience: Three (3) years’ experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife practicing in an active OB/GYN Practice.
4. Skills: Demonstrates ability to evaluate patient’s physical and emotional status. Demonstrates ability to provide patient care based on age-related needs. Demonstrates current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in the following age groups: Adult, Young Adult, Adolescent, Pediatric, and Neonatal. Demonstrates clear credentials check through the AHP process.

Compensation: Hourly Pay Range $81.28 - $98.80 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
