Position Overview / Summary
The Hub Coordinator/Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) plays a key role in supporting the mission of NorthBound by managing administrative duties and providing Certified Recovery Specialist services as needed. This part-time position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Regional Recovery Hub while also serving individuals in recovery through direct support and guidance. The individual will work closely with staff, partner organizations, and community members to enhance recovery efforts across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Perform general administrative duties, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining calendars.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute documents, presentations, and reports as directed by the Leadership Team.
- Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and physical) for the Hub’s records and data.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them appropriately and ensuring timely responses.
- Assist in processing invoices, reimbursements, and tracking expenses for the Hub as directed by the Leadership Team.
- Coordinate logistics for recovery programs, workshops, and events, including venue booking, participant registration, and materials preparation.
- Supportive role in all team-based activities/duties
- And such other duties as determined by the Leadership Team.
Hub Coordination
- Serve as the primary contact for the Regional Recovery Hub, providing information and support to staff, clients, and partner organizations.
- Monitor and track key metrics related to the Hub’s operations, preparing summary reports in the CRM for the Leadership Team.
- Manage resource inventory and distribution, ensuring that Hub supplies are adequately stocked and accessible.
- Manage Recovery Center information resources publications, bulletin board, and supply inventory.
- Support scheduling and posting of organizational updates and events to all digital / social media pages and profiles.
Fundraising Support
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising events, grant opportunities and campaigns to support Hub and workforce initiatives.
- Engage with donors, sponsors, and community supporters to secure funding and resources for NorthBound programs.
- Contribute to creative strategies for expanding fundraising opportunities and increasing community involvement.
Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) Services
- Provide peer-based recovery support to individuals, utilizing lived experience to foster hope and empowerment.
- Act as a recovery mentor and advocate, helping individuals navigate recovery resources and services.
- Assist clients in identifying and setting personal recovery goals.
- Collaborate with other recovery professionals and community organizations to connect individuals to appropriate services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, adhering to all ethical and legal standards.
- Offer CRS services as time and demand allow, ensuring balance with administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- or coordination role, preferably in a nonprofit or recovery-related setting.
- Certification as a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS)
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with database management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning as part of a collaborative team.
- A high level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Lived experience with recovery and a strong understanding of recovery principles.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- This is a hybrid role, with both in-office and remote work options available, depending on program needs.
- Some travel within the region may be required for events or stakeholder meetings.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds for event or supply management.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
