About the company:
Our client, a well-established financial services firm located in New York, NY, is looking to add an Accounts Receivable Analyst to their growing team. The responsibilities of this role include managing the firm's accounts receivable and billing process, following up with clients directly on past-due invoices, reconciling outstanding billing, and managing AR data.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Analyst:
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
- Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Accounting knowledge and Excel skills
- 1-4 years of AR experience
- Excellent organizational skills is required
