The position requires a strong background in contract negotiation, the ability to assess and articulate risks arising out of various agreements, and decision-making capabilities. The ideal candidate will have the desire to take ownership over the contracting process, work cross-functionally with other areas of the firm, be able to take a practical, business-minded approach in negotiations, and manage outside counsel. Job Responsibilities :
- Overseeing and implementing an initiative to centralize the contracting process.
- Creation of templates appropriate for use in a variety of settings.
- Interfacing with the business side in the contracting process.
- Management of issues, including escalation of issues as appropriate.
