What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at Northbound Executive Search?
Our client is a highly regarded asset manager looking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst in a newly created position. This hire will be responsible for :
Position Summary
- Develop flexible GP financial models to depict current value and prospects based on management’s growth initiatives
- Preparation of annual budget, regular reforecasts, model to improve senior management’s decisions on future initiatives, answer many ad hoc requests
- Support Finance team’s preparation and review including performance reporting of fund investment cash flows (IRRs, multiples) and portfolio company metrics
- Provide Investor Relations with needed Fund data and analysis for marketing materials especially for Annual Conference and Fund-Raising efforts, assist Investment team tracking and reporting of investments
- Work with Portfolio Company investments to receive timely data feeds of performance data and support monthly reporting of Portfolio Company
- Work with third party valuation providers and external auditors during their quarterly / annual reviews of the investment portfolios
- Coordinate with tax, investor relations, fund accounting, operations, and risk teams on reporting, reconciliations, and investment structuring
