Join our amazing team as a Bag Drop Attendant to work at Heritage Oaks Golf Club. Spend time outdoors, develop your customer service skills and assist with ensuring the course operates smoothly. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests. Staff performs set-up and presentation of golf car staging area, bag drop and practice range. Coordinates golf car rentals and fleet usage. Must remain in communication with the golf shop, starters, and player assistants to promote efficient operations. Work tasks may vary based on bag drop or range picker task assignment; staff may be assigned to any on-course duties as needed.
Pay & Schedule:
$17.00 - $19.00 Per Hour (DOQ)
Hours may fluctuate based on operational needs; Weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Holiday work may apply.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Greet all guests upon arrival; assist guests with all bag drop needs.
• Act as on-duty Bag Drop Staff Lead and assist in coordinating operational needs with supervisors as directed. Duties include fueling the
golf car fleet, leading clean picks, assigning tasks, contacting staff and ensuring staff coverage during operating hours, and ensuring bag drop operations run smoothly and customers receive quality service.
• Maintain the appearance standards of the bag drop and golf car areas and ensure the golf car fleet is clean and presentable.
• Clear the practice range of golf balls using the practice range picker, maintain the range picker and advise the supervisor of any
mechanical issues.
• Maintain the presentation of the practice range tee line.
• Maintain range ball inventory levels at the ball machine.
• Execute planning set-up and takedown of golf car staging area for planned golf outings and programs.
• Assist with setup for Northbrook Golf Academy clinics and special events.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance work as needed.
• Inform the supervisor of any golf car issues
• Report any work-related or patron injuries or incidents to your supervisor; report unsafe conditions to your supervisor and correct them
if appropriate; and complete incident/accident report forms as needed.
• Adhere to all golf clubs' safety policies and procedures.
• Perform all job tasks in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age, have general knowledge of the game of golf, terminology, etiquette, and equipment.
Skills & Abilities
• Provide positive customer service to all guests
• Safe operation of a golf car and range picker
• Ability to work independently in an efficient manner
• CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire
• A valid Illinois driver's license is required to operate a golf car safely
Knowledge
• Basic use of software applications
