Join our Team!
We are hiring Childcare Attendants to supervise children ages 3 months to 10 years in the Kids’ Corner childcare area while parents exercise at the Techny Prairie Activity Center (TPAC).
Pay & Hours
Starting at $15 per hour.
Hours: weekends 8:00 AM-12:00PM on Saturdays and 8:30AM-11:30AM on Sundays.
As a Childcare Attendant, you'll implement a variety of activities to provide a safe and fun experience for all children. Parents Night Out are monthly events on Saturday evenings (4:30 to 9 pm).
Duties & Responsibilities
Create a safe, nurturing, and positive place where child can play. Monitor care and safety of each child as well as the dropoff and pickup process for each child. Actively engage with children while encouraging free play. Ensure good hygiene of children and immediately contact parent or guardian at facility for feeding, cleanliness, illness or other childcare needs or concerns beyond scope of child oversight responsibilities. Qualifications
Must be 16 years or older and have hands-on experience working with children. The ability to interact positively with children and parents while properly caring for and leading children through activities during care is required. Willing to sing, dance, and be silly with children. Must be CPR certified or have an ability to obtain certification at hire through our CPR certification course offerings.
