Job Title: Sales Representative

Summary: The Sales Representative at Northbuilt is responsible for generating new business and driving sales growth in the bathroom remodeling market. This role requires strong communication, customer relationship management, and sales skills to identify and qualify leads, present service offerings, and close sales. The Sales Representative will work closely with the sales manager, marketing team, and project managers to align sales activities with company goals, contributing to the success and growth of the bathroom remodeling firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and marketing campaigns. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct in-person and virtual sales presentations to prospective clients. Present the company’s services, capabilities, and value propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements. Provide excellent customer service and follow up regularly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract signing. Prepare and present accurate and detailed proposals and quotations. Negotiate terms and close sales.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Use this information to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales manager, marketing team, and project managers to ensure alignment between sales efforts and project execution. Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between teams.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions in the CRM system. Prepare regular sales reports for management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of sales strategies and best practices. Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction or remodeling industry.
  • Certifications: Relevant sales certifications are a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM tools (HubSpot).
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Sales Manager
  • Direct reports: None

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based with frequent travel to client consultations and meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Will require occasional site visits to understand client needs and project requirements.
  • Must adhere to company policies and procedures related to hybrid work.

Performance Expectations

  • Sell 1 project per week
  • Curate and maintain a clean sales pipeline in HubSpot
  • Adequately deliver signed projects to the designer and project manager for seamless transition to the design phase.
  • Achieve or exceed individual sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and client retention.
  • Effectively manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results.
  • Continuously improve sales skills and knowledge of the industry.

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, typically ranging from $50,000 to $80,000 per year.
  • Commission: Performance-based commission structure tied to individual sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Performance Bonuses: Eligibility for performance-based bonuses tied to sales performance.
  • Benefits Package: No additional benefits offered at this time.
