Description
This position will be responsible for the full cycle of the staff recruitment process including candidate sourcing, interviewing and conducting outreach to enhance the ability of the College to attract and recruit talented candidates. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units and departments. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to supervisors and employees that reflects the business objectives of the College. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but serves as a primary point of contact for supervisors and employees.
Examples of Duties
Conducts periodic meetings with respective business units and departments. Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day HR needs.
Provides performance management guidance to line management (e.g., guidance on counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships and increase productivity and retention. Provides HR policy guidance and resources.
Develops terms of the offer letter for new hires, promotions and transfers. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Identifies training needs for business units and training for employee professional needs, and can assign training through LinkedIn Learning. Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met. Developing and executing sourcing strategies that identify top tier talent pools in an effort to ensure timely hires and manage long-term candidate networking relationships. Partnering with internal and external clients to provide expertise in initiating, implementing, evaluating and streamlining current recruiting practices.
Conducting and / or assisting with searches as needed. Sourcing candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter and other external job posting sites. Status candidates in NeoEd based on search progress with job postings. Developing offer letters and communicating important employment and benefits information to candidates. Developing and implementing programs and initiatives that support hiring goals, which ensures EEO compliance. Developing and implementing advertising and social media recruitment strategies and processing / monitoring all expenses incurred. Planning, organizing, and implementing outreach efforts (e.g. college recruitment). Representing the College at recruiting events. Adhering to Florida Sunshine, OFCCP and AA / EEO regulations and established NCF policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Work with supervisors for onboarding new hires, process new hire documents, I-9 verification, and entering in the system.
Collaborate with departments to assist in preparation for the first day arrival procedures and "Day 1 agenda". Coordinate hire date, prepare offer letter, and communicate with candidates and supervisors accordingly. Update employee terminations / resignations, offboarding, exit interviews, and coordinate job postings to fill vacancies. Work closely with Compensation / HR personnel to ensure postings, positions, job descriptions, and hires are processed accordingly.
Provide customer service with applicants seeking information from postings or routing to appropriate hiring managers. Track and provide assistance with uploading documentation and other queries from candidates or supervisor's access updates via NeoEd. Facilitate employee records retention on applicant / finalist information for auditing purposes from NeoEd to Softdocs. Continually monitor and track NeoEd activity for all new hires, and process alignment to ensure accurate reporting and regular system maintenance needs in collaboration with the HRIS analyst.

Minimum Qualifications
One (1) year of related experience and Master's degree in an associated area OR three (3) years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree in an associated area.
Preferred Qualifications
Five (5) to seven (7) years of successful employment recruiting experience.
Advanced knowledge of labor markets, recruiting practices and effective social media recruitment tools and marketing resources.
Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Experience with Microsoft products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Google products including Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.
