An exciting aspect of this position is the opportunity for travel. We require the ability to travel 100% of the time with travel back home on the weekends at least 80% of the time . The Typical Day-to-Day :
With your background in telecommunications central offices or data centers, you'll tackle a diverse array of tasks. This includes installing or removing common systems such as optical transport, digital switches, or power infrastructure within central offices. You'll also handle cable-related duties like running, pulling, terminating, and labeling various cables, including fiber optics, Ethernet, and smaller power cables. Experience in equipment procurement and a knack for understanding technical publications and industry standards will be essential for success in this role.
