Responsible for collaborating with end users across all business areas of the credit union to identify opportunities for improvement and automation. Must have a strong intellectual curiosity and ability to identify, collect, organize, and analyze business opportunities. A high attention to detail and a focus on collaboration is required to ensure information is clearly defined and a full end-to-end solution has been identified, agreed upon and understood by business partners. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 1. Analyze and collaborate with business units on current business processes and systems and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and business knowledge. Obtain approval for and define and coordinate the documentation, implementation, testing and deployment of improvements.2. Responsible for designing, enhancing, and maintaining the Credit Union forms environment. This includes new form creation and mapping, form updates, coordination of testing with affected departments, and deployment of forms to applicable systems.3. Assist with ongoing process improvement implementation with a focus on efficiencies and documentation.4. Collaborate with business units to understand organizational and operational challenges.5. Keep up to date on the latest technology and industry trends.6. Develop an understanding and working knowledge of the credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, policies, procedures, and appropriate software systems. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned. Performance Measurements: 1.Coordination - The ability to effectively coordinate multiple components of an event, process, or project. Ensures efforts are not duplicated, materials are available, manpower is sufficient, schedules are followed, deadlines are met, time and resources are not wasted, information is communicated between parties, and goals are achieved. Able to quickly and appropriately handle unexpected problems.2.Creativity - The ability to generate new ideas, concepts, processes, actions, or solutions which are original, useful, unusual, and appropriate to the situation. The degree to which preconceived assumptions can be discarded and new possibilities imagined.3.Teamwork & Cooperation - The degree to which individuals promote a collaborative, cooperative, and productive working environment. The level of demonstrated sensitivity, team building, support, and respect. The degree of synergy promoted.4.Analytical Skills - The ability to observe, evaluate, summarize, and apply meaningful data in the problem-solving process. The level of logical reasoning necessary to connect required actions to desired outcomes. The ability to forecast events based upon current situations. Demonstrated skill in generating alternative solutions to problems.5.Initiative - The ability to perform job responsibilities independently and responsibly. The ability to proactively complete tasks, solve problems, improve processes, enhance products, and/or extend services within assigned range of authority. Knowledge and Skills: Experience(3) One year to three years of similar or related experience. Education(3) (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program. Interpersonal Skills(4) Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
