What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager-Respiratory,NCP,EEG,EKG,Sleep position at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center?
The Manager will work along-side the Director and assist all departments, managing the day to day operations. The Manager will participate in staff supervision, retention, budgetary oversight, data management and performance improvements.
Planning, organizing and implementing services to meet departmental goals
Assist the Director in daily operations of the departments and provide professional guidance
Assist the Director in the interview process of potential new hires
Provide oversight in the training of new employees
Maintaining employee files- where applicable
Ensuring that all staff meet basic job requirements
Assist the Director in ensuring continued CAP Accreditation
Assist the Director in performing Annual Performance Evaluations
Assist the Director in ensuring that all annual competencies are completed in a timely fashion.
Assist the Director in providing continuing education for all staff
Assist the Director in creating work schedules
Ensure all departments have the supplies needed to perform their respective services
Recommend and implement cost effective measures in the departments
Sufficient previous experience as respiratory therapist.
- State and National Respiratory Licensure.
BLS and ACLS required. PALS and NRP preferred.
