What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Imaging position at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center?
Reports to the Imaging Supervisor. This job functions in a dynamic and varied role; the major goal is to provide quality nursing care to patients in Radiology: job performance requires the use of assessment, communication, teaching, leadership and management skills; insures patient privacy and dignity; may function in the following areas: special procedures, general diagnostics, computerized tomography, nuclear medicine and ultrasound.
- Assesses the physical, psychosocial, spiritual and growth and development dimensions of the patient.
- Plans patient care utilizing the nursing and medical diagnosis.
- Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients.
- Evaluates patient status, nursing interventions and appropriateness of the nursing care plan.
- Communicates and documents patient care activities, needs and assessments.
Valid Alabama RN license.
- Prefer five years critical care experience.
Must complete ACLS within the first year in position. Appropriate nursing competencies are maintained
