- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform routine procedures such as blood draws, and wound care
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and treatments
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Take and develop X-rays of animals as needed
- Conduct laboratory tests on samples such as blood, urine, and tissue
- Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments
- Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners
```Qualifications```
- Experience working with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats.
- Proficiency in animal care techniques, including animal handling, grooming, and husbandry
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to perform animal catheterization and assist with veterinary critical care
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment for diagnostic testing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with veterinarians, staff, and pet owners
