Part-Time Summer Driver

An amazing new opportunity has come up on our Pathways to Opportunities Team in MA! We are looking for a Summer Driver/Monitor to join us!

Job Summary: Provides safe and timely transportation for Pathways students from Lynn Classical High School to day programs and or other authorized locations.

Major Responsibilities:

• Completes daily runs transporting individuals as assigned by Director, Pathways to Opportunities or designee.
• Maintains vehicle logs and tracks daily attendance, while reporting all student incidents to the Director or designee with the required documentation.
• Complies with all applicable Agency and Department policies and procedures, i.e., training, safety, cleanliness, wearing seatbelts, no eating and drinking in vehicles, refueling at ½ tank, etc.
• Monitors the vehicle's operation and performance, and submits a Vehicle Repair form to report any safety or mechanical issues to the Director.
• Assists with minor vehicle maintenance, i.e.; fueling, cleaning, drop-off and pick-up at repair shops, etc.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent experience, valid Driver’s license with 3 years of driving experience, an acceptable Driver Record, and a minimum age of 19 years.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

• Able to safely operate various types of vehicles, i.e.; Minivans, SUVs, and 15-Passenger vans.
• Working knowledge of MA State and Federal Laws regarding safe driving.

Physical Demands:

• Drive/Sit while operating a vehicle for extended periods of time.
• Enter and exit vehicles several times daily.

Job Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18/hr.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM – 9 AM & then 2 PM – 4 PM
