The QI Specialist will assists in the development and maintenance of agency-wide programs to ensure quality and outcome management. They will also support quality improvement interventions and audits, resolving deficiencies to meet regulatory and accreditation standards. The QI Specialist will collaborate with division directors to address complex issues and will perform data analytics and reporting activities.
Major Responsibilities
Pay: $55,000 to 65,000/annual
The QI Specialist will assists in the development and maintenance of agency-wide programs to ensure quality and outcome management. They will also support quality improvement interventions and audits, resolving deficiencies to meet regulatory and accreditation standards. The QI Specialist will collaborate with division directors to address complex issues and will perform data analytics and reporting activities.
Major Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the QI team in the development of agency-wide performance standards. Assists with developing and evaluating quality management practices and systems to ensure compliance and continuous quality improvement. Monitors conformity to standards.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of state and federal regulations (CMS, DPH, DDS, HIPPA, etc.). Assists in developing policies and procedures to enhance agency operations and regulatory adherence.
- Collaborates with QI director and senior leadership to ensure the implementation of regulatory licensing and accreditation standards. Develops and makes recommendations for procedures and policies which comply with State and Federal regulations as well as enhances overall agency operations
- Works with QI director to develop, manage, conduct the agency’s audits process, developing and monitoring action plans. Visits NeArc’s programs and residential homes to conduct audits, assessments, surveys, and training to uphold quality standards.
- Assists the Privacy and Security Officers with the development, implementation, and monitoring of all privacy and security rules, policies and procedures. Participates in investigations, management, resolution, and reporting of all agency breaches.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Three years of related experience in Quality Improvement, HIPAA, and/or regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of quality improvement procedures and practices
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and standards
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay: $55,000 to 65,000/annual
