Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is a one-of-a-kind state of the art Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lake Katrine 5 minutes off of exit 19 on the New York State Thruway. Northeast Center offers programs not found in any other nursing home in the region.

Full Time Shifts available : 7A-3P, 3P-11P & 11P-7A with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities :

  • Collecting soiled laundry from residents' rooms.
  • Transporting laundry carts to the laundering facility.
  • Washing, drying, and folding laundry in commercial machines.
  • Distributing clean laundry to residents.
  • Delivering soiled lines to the laudry, sorting, washing, and returning clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms.
  • Cleaning laundry and equipment area.

    • Requirements :

  • Previous experience in laundry, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues.

    • Compensation :

  • Rate will be commensurate with experience.
