Responsible for writing client documentation, (IAP’s, discharge summaries, etc.) and facilitate meetings.
Complete intake paperwork and facilitate intake meetings as needed by PD.
Provide clinical support and feedback to program staff in the absence of the PD.
Facilitate weekly psycho-educational and life skills groups & develop appropriate curriculum.
Provide case management for clients, including but not limited to on-going contract with families, case workers, and other service providers.
Assist with the creation/development of monthly activity schedules that include appropriate physical and therapeutic activities.
Co-lead recreational trips and activities and assist with planning.
Provide transportation for clients to and from site. (in Agency vehicles as well as personal vehicle)
Assist with training and ensure staff compliance on all agency standards, policies and procedures in the absence of the Program Director.
Participate in and attend scheduled meetings, trainings and professional development workshops.
Ability to obtain required certifications and licenses, including but not limited to CPI de-escalation, CPR, First Aid.
Split 40 hours equally between Springfield & Westfield Programs
Perform all other duties as assigned by the PD.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work
Two years’ experience working with youth with emotional and behavioral needs preferred.
Strong writing skills
Ability to travel between TDP sites

- If transporting clients in personal vehicle: Must have verification of adequate personal auto insurance on the vehicle(s) to be used, including, at minimum, Optional Bodily Injury to Others (coverage part 5 on a Mass Auto policy) limits of $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident, and Damage to Someone Else's Property (part 4) limits of at least $100,000.
