What are the responsibilities and job description for the Children’s Early Intervention Case Manager position at Northeast Counseling Services?
This case manager will provide assistance to children through age 5 with serious and persistent mental illness, or children at risk of serious mental illness. The case manager will help these children and families gain access to needed resources such as medical, social, educational, and other needed services through natural supports, community resources, and specialized mental health treatment.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university, as well as, knowledge of the mental health, drug and alcohol and social service field. The individual should possess good judgment, positive communication skills, and the ability to organize their time to meet consumer needs in a flexible, non-traditional time frame. They must be self-motivated and have the ability to be creative and aggressive in seeking services for consumers.
SALARY: Up to $37,000
