Northeast Counseling Services is currently seeking individuals to become part of our team providing assessments on mental health clients seeking help. The Walk-In Crisis Worker provides in-person and telephone assessment and intervention for adults, children & adolescents experiencing psychiatric emergencies.The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university. They should possess a working knowledge of the philosophy, concepts, mandates and operations of community mental health services and / or related human services delivery.
