What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per-Diem Outpatient Psychotherapist (Wilkes-Barre) position at Northeast Counseling Services?
Northeast Counseling Services is currently seeking a per-diem psychotherapist for our busy psychiatric outpatient clinic working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The successful candidate will provide clinical services to youth diagnosed with an emotional disorder.
The role of the Psychotherapist is to provide traditional, ongoing, intensive, individual, family, marital and group psychotherapy as outlined in a client's treatment plan. A diverse population is served including chronically mentally ill clients and those exhibiting adjustment disorders and other life situation difficulties. The Psychotherapist functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team to ensure quality care is being provided and is medically necessary. This workforce member has access to the complete chart for cases requiring worker's involvement.
This position requires a Master's Degree in a mental health discipline.
