Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the successful execution of various projects and initiatives within our organization. The Specialist will be responsible for utilizing their technical skills and project management expertise to support project scheduling, system design, and engineering tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be committed to delivering high-quality results.

This position is for individuals with experience with United Illuminating and Eversource utility companies for Solar Interconnection applications.

Duties

  • Manage project scheduling to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and MicroStation for drafting and design activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop systems engineering solutions.
  • Assist in project management activities, including resource allocation and progress tracking.
  • Contribute to system design efforts by creating detailed schematics and technical documentation.
  • Employ GIS tools for spatial analysis and data visualization as required.
  • Utilize MATLAB for simulations and data analysis to support engineering projects.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status and updates.

Skills

  • Proficiency in project scheduling techniques and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation for technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience in project management methodologies.
  • Ability to design systems effectively, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Competence in CAD software for creating detailed designs.
  • Understanding of GIS applications for mapping and spatial analysis.
  • Capability to develop schematics that accurately represent system components.
  • Proficient in MATLAB for data analysis, modeling, and simulations.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
