Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range $70,000 to $90,000 to start depending on experience in sales and the industry. In addition to your base salary, you'll be eligible for a performance-based bonus that rewards your success in acquiring new clients and expanding our customer base. Job includes a company car, paid hotels, and meals. We offer health insurance, 401K (company match), and 2 weeks' vacation.
Job Responsibilities
Sales Acumen:
- Develop and manage an existing portfolio of customer accounts, driving sales growth and identifying new business opportunities.
- Successfully move clients through the sales process to a close (win/lose).
- Achieve sales growth, increase market share, and improve product positioning within the territory.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Conduct 3 to 5 face-to-face meetings with customers each travel day (3 travel days per week).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues effectively and efficiently.
Technical Skills:
- Become a product expert and effectively communicate product knowledge to customers.
- Proficiently use CRM software to manage opportunities, accounts, and territory.
Other:
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- This position requires 4 to 8 overnight stays per month.
What You Bring to the Table:
Sales Acumen:
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing accounts.
- Skilled in all stages of the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Effective negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong ability to manage a sales territory and develop account and market strategies.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with clients.
- Active listening and presentation skills.
- Passionate about understanding customer needs and exceeding expectations.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and CRM software.
Other:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Competitive and self-motivated.
Experience:
- 3 years of hearth industry experience
- Must have a good driving record
