What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Tech position at Northeast Group?

Here's a list of expectations for the role of Irrigation Technician:
- Assist in loading / unloading of equipment, materials and supplies daily.
- Hand dig with shovels, picks, digging bars to complete trenches.
- 2 years commercial irrigation service
- Trained in the installation, repair and service of multi and 2-wire systems.
- Able to program and operate a wide range of irrigation controllers.
- Troubleshoot, Repair and modify systems as needed.
- Completed advanced irrigation industry training certificate (preferred not Mandatory)
- Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment when used.
- Capable of working in all temperatures and climates
- Emergency response / service after hours / weekends as needed.
- Have the ability to complete site inspection reports and work order documents
- Prioritize, Schedule and route work orders
Here’s a list of requirements for the role of Irrigation Technician.
- Valid/clean driver’s license
- Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to start
- Basic understanding of Plumbing, water use and calculation.
- Able to pass Back Round Check
- Have a smart phone/device to use company apps for time keeping and job tracking
Here’s a look at your expected work environment:
- Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
- Ocaaional climbing on ladders when needed.
- Lifting and carrying objects up to 65 pounds
- Working in all weather conditions
Pay Range based on Experience and Qualifications- $28-$35 per hr
o Overtime is available during busy periods of season.
