What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal Plow Truck Operator position at Northeast Group?

Here's a list of expectations for the role of Plow Truck Driver / Salt Truck Driver / Brine Truck Driver:
- Operates a pickup truck with a snowplow and deicer to remove ice and snow from commercial accounts throughout assigned areas. This work requires early morning starts, extended hours, weekend duty, and holiday work.
- Responds in a timely manner (within 30 minutes) when called to assist in snow plowing.
- Ensure assigned properties under this position's responsibility are adequately and safely serviced when required.
- At times, shoveling snow, grounds maintenance, and other duties as assigned related to facilities and site maintenance might be needed.
- Before leaving for a shift, inspect equipment on a regularly scheduled basis and comply with safety precautions.
- Maintains clean, ready-to-go equipment needed for snow removal.
- Follows all safety rules, policies, and regulations. Can work independently with minimal supervision to complete the job.
- Reports all incidents involving equipment’s functioning to supervisor (s).
- Must own and be able to use a smartphone to log services when on site.

- Valid/clean driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
- Lifting and carrying objects up to 65 pounds
- Working in all weather conditions
