Position Summary:
The Child and Youth Systems of Care Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive system of care for children and youth. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including families, service providers, and community organizations, to ensure that services are accessible, coordinated, and tailored to meet the diverse needs of children and youth. Must reside in the State of Colorado or be willing to relocate prior to position start date.
Duties Performed:
- Design, implement, and evaluate systems of care programs and services that support children and youth with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.
- Foster partnerships with community organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and families to promote a holistic approach to care.
- Participate in Department led meetings regarding the Settlement Agreement and implementation of Children’s Intensive behavioral health program.
- Work with utilization director, care coordination director, and other personnel to implement standardized child and youth benefit.
- Serve as a point of contact for care coordinators serving children, youth, and families.
- Advocate for policies that support the needs of children and youth in the system of care. Stay informed about legislation and best practices in child and youth services.
- Monitor and analyze program performance and outcomes using relevant data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. Provide written reports and data tracking for Department required deliverables.
- Develop and monitor training programs for staff and community partners to enhance their understanding of the systems of care approach.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and compliance with funding requirements.
- Additional duties as assigned within the scope of NHPs contractual obligations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Education/Credentials:
- Licensed mental health professional or equivalent health care professional with necessary clinical experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in mental health field and service delivery for children, youth, and families.
- Child welfare and system of care experience preferred.
Knowledge of:
- Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues and the systems of care framework.
- Child and Youth System of Care, High Fidelity Wraparound, and Medicaid programs.
- Evidenced-based programming including MST and FFT.
- Workplace policies and professionalism.
- Organizational structure, workflow and operating procedures.
- Organizational sensitivity regarding complex relationships with federal, state and local agencies, government entities, and personnel.
Skills/ Abilities to:
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Effectively and positively communicate both orally and in writing with a wide range of individuals and constituencies.
- Work remotely using technology and various platforms including Microsoft office, Teams, Zoom, etc…
- Travel up to 50%; may include weekend and after hours events.
- Maintain confidentiality.
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment; however, a hybrid work model may be offered, blending in-office and remote work opportunities based on organizational needs and job requirements. Some meetings will occur at locations outside of the usual work location, including the use of conference and electronic meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, GoToMeeting). All positions require travel within the counties NHP serves.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $101,000.00 per year
