We are seeking an experienced Locums Nurse Practitioner to join a primary care practice that serves patients of all ages in a value-based care setting. This role offers a flexible schedule and requires autonomous practice in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Our approach aligns the interests of patients, providers, and payors to ensure affordable, high-quality care across Medicare, Medicaid, and ACA Marketplace populations.
Compensation : Up to $80 Per Hour
Position Details :
Schedule : Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays
Patient Load : Average of 15 patients per day
Setting : Value-based primary care for all ages
Flexibility : Rotating evenings and weekends may be required
Responsibilities :
Deliver comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care
Diagnose and treat illnesses, prescribe medications, and develop individualized treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Provide patient education and promote wellness initiatives
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Refer patients to specialists as needed and manage follow-ups
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and professional regulations
Requirements :
Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Registered Nurse (RN) licenses in Texas
Minimum 2 years of primary care experience (must be able to practice autonomously)
National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (preferred)
Master's degree in Nursing (Doctorate preferred)
Bilingual in English & Spanish (preferred)
Proficiency in EHR systems, medical databases, and e-prescribing software
