We are seeking an exceptional Inpatient Hospitalist Physician to join our healthcare team at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment Inc. in Dover, NH.
About the Opportunity
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive compensation package with opportunities for financial growth based on patient volume and performance.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a Long-Term Care Facility and Skilled Nursing Facility, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to a caseload of 15 to 20 patients per day, managing complex medical conditions, chronic illnesses, and acute exacerbations.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, caregivers, and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Participate in care conferences and family meetings to discuss patient care plans and address any concerns or questions.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or a relevant specialty.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state(s) where services will be rendered.
- Experience in hospital medicine, long-term care, or geriatric medicine is highly desirable.
Work Environment
This is a Monday-Friday position, with no weekends or call shifts. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work full-time, part-time, or PRN schedules based on facility needs and personal preferences.
