Job Title: Locums Radiology-Diagnostic/Light IR/Mammography Physician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced physician to provide diagnostic radiology services, focusing on a mix of diagnostic imaging, light interventional radiology (IR), and mammography in Oviedo, FL.
Shift Details:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Weekend requirements: Yes, as needed
- On-call requirements: None
The physician will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, interpret results, and ensure comprehensive patient care. They will also perform light interventional radiology procedures as needed and conduct mammography exams.
Daily Volume & Modality Split:
- Diagnostic Radiology (DX): 60% of the daily caseload (approximately 50 RVUs)
- Interventional Radiology (IR): 20% of the daily caseload (approximately 10 RVUs)
- Mammography (Mammo): 20% of the daily caseload (volume dependent on patient flow)
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
- Completed fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology, with experience in Mammography and light Interventional Radiology
- Active Florida Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong experience in performing and interpreting mammograms, as well as light IR procedures
- Proficiency in using Meditech or similar EMR systems
