What are the responsibilities and job description for the Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant position at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc.?
We have an opening in Cambridge, MA. for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of emergency medicine or 3 years’ experience in high volume urgent care, which includes the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients. In the center, you will: examine and treat urgent care patients, ensure proper injury care, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery; prescribe and administer medication; request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists, as necessary.
Our centers are open (7) days per week 8AM to 8PM. Full-time positions must be able to work three/four 12-hour shifts per week (84 hour biweekly) including every other weekend.

- Provide 5-star patient care; We love our patients, and we want you too as well, will provide exceptional patient care in a fast paced and fluid work environment
- Experience with EHR systems occupational health, emergency room and family practice procedures
- Able to use necessary medical equipment: EKG, nebulizer, etc.
- A current NP or PA License in one of our urgent care states, in which you are applying
- Must be credentialed to see patients of all ages
- Active DEA license with no restrictions
- Current DOT certification or ability to become certified
