What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coach, Color Guard Coach position at Northeast High School?
Lincoln Northeast High School seeks a color guard instructor to assist with the 9-12 marching band. The successful candidate demonstrates high levels of knowledge and skill in choreography and technique related to color guard. This includes flags, swing flags, sabres, rifles, etc. The successful candidate is able to design and implement highly effective instructional material and practice routines to aid students in preparing for competition. The successful candidate is able to attend each rehearsal.
Duties include leading one week of auxiliary camp in July and assisting with one week of full band camp in July. Additional duties include attending each competition during competition season and leading supplemental rehearsals on Wednesday nights.
This position is subject to a veterans preference.
