LINCOLN NORTHEAST STAR STRUTTER COACH:
This position requires a Teacher and/or coach who holds a Nebraska Department of Education Teacher or Administrative Certificate or a Nebraska Department of Education Special Services Coaching Permit.
Lincoln Northeast High School is seeking a varsity head coach to provide qualified leadership for the Dance/Strutter program. Good communication and organizational skills are required as well as the ability to develop positive productive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and community. Must be able to provide quality instruction of fundamental skills as well as have a comprehensive knowledge of the sport of Dance. The successful candidate must have the ability to lead and enhance the ongoing development, improvement, and participation in the program. Be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the inventory and equipment; reporting contest results; and must know, implement and enforce national, state and local athletic policies.
A strong belief in the value of educational-based athletics is critical as is an emphasis on the importance of the student-athlete.
This position upon hire will require NFHS certification (Concussion, Heat, Sudden Cardiac Awareness), also CPR certified, and have a Certificate for Spirit Safety offered by the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators.
