SASH Coach Are you passionate about making a positive impact within affordable housing communities? We're in search of a dynamic and committed SASH Coach to provide holistic care coordination and assistance at our SASH affordable housing sites. Join our team on a part-time basis, working 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling. About NKHS NKHS is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering high-quality, comprehensive community mental health programs in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Our mission is to empower individuals, families, and communities by fostering hope, healing, and support. As a Designated Agency contracted with the State of Vermont, we strive to deliver top-tier services to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, children and youth facing serious emotional challenges, and adults dealing with mental health and substance use issues. Serving Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties, our diverse programs cater to individuals of all ages, with over 500 employees annually supporting nearly 4,000 local community members. Visit us at NKHS.org and explore life in the NEK of Vermont. Essential Duties and Functions Become certified as a PEARLS coach and provide PEARLS 1:1 with SASH participants in person or virtually. When eligible, become trained as a trainer for a mental health program such as a PEARLS, Mental Health First Aid, etc. Provide staff training. Develop group programs and offer to residents at non-EMHC program sites directly in-person, virtually or via presentation sharing with SASH staff. Serve as a resource for SASH teams without a SASH Emotional Wellness Clinician (SEWC). Attend SASH team meetings as requested by each panel in their region. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or closely related field and two years working in mental health services in a community health setting. Experience running group programs preferred. Valid driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle Willingness to travel to regional SASH sites.
