School Based Services Program Manager

Northeast Kingdom Human Services is seeking a Program Manager for School Based Services in Newport. Take the lead and provide overall direction of school based staff and clinically coordinate programs serving children and youth who are experiencing a serious emotional disturbance and their families.   About NKHS: NKHS is a 501(c)(3) private not-for-profit organization operating with the purpose of promoting high quality, comprehensive community mental health programs in Vermont’s beautiful Northeast Kingdom. Visit us at NKHS.org  Check out Life in the NEK of Vermont   Duties & Responsiblities: Provide supervision and training to all staff employed by or assigned to targeted school programs around service delivery. Represent targeted school programs to interested persons and serve as liaison between the targeted school programs, community, families, and other NKHS programs. Participate in the recruiting, hiring and training of school staff. Assist in the development of program objectives and policies. Screen, assess, evaluate and accept referrals. Provide ongoing assessment, evaluation, and updating of materials and program.   QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in human service field. Licensure preferred.  Experience working with children with Emotional Behavioral Disturbances (EBD). Knowledge of system of care and trauma informed treatment a must. Administrative and supervisory experience also required.    SALARY & BENEFITS Competitive Salary: $60,000 plus, depending upon education and experience.
