Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate chemical and physical properties of various organic substances (products)
- Using established procedures (SOP), perform testing of our materials using various state-of-the-art analytical and synthesis technologies.
- Effectively performs chemical analysis on reference materials that we produce using a variety of techniques (such as automated HPLC, GC, LCMS, GCMS, and Karl Fischer, Melting Point, FTIR instrumentation) under supervision of Manager, QC/Analytical Laboratory, and in accordance with Company/Quality/Site SOPs.
- Document and report all experimental and test results in the electronic laboratory notebook.
- Update databases and inventory for chemicals and reagents.
- Ensures adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, analytical methods, protocols, company standards, and applicable regulations.
- Follow all company safety practices, policies, and procedures.
- Evaluate our products in accordance and compliant with ISO 17034, ISO 17025 Quality standards.
- Complete any other task assigned by the laboratory manager.
Essential Skills and Qualifications to Be Successful
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Science/Technology preferred
- Entry level-- no experience required
- Hands-on laboratory work
- Knowledge of principles, terminology, practices, techniques, commonly used in laboratory settings.
- Strong mathematical aptitude, and problem solving skills
- Possesses time management skills to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co- workers, and/or clients.
- Organized, enthusiastic, able to prioritize and deliver results.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
