You’ll be at the forefront of analyzing and improving indoor air quality, working within our cutting-edge Asbestos, Radon, and IAQ Microbiology laboratories.
Your role will encompass everything from sample receiving and analysis to data reporting and technical support. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential as you’ll be collaborating across departments.
While a college-level education is preferred, your enthusiasm and dedication are what truly matter.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Sample Management: Be the first point of contact for client samples. Receive, log, and report samples with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every sample is accounted for and processed efficiently.
· Independent Analysis: Showcase your expertise by conducting Asbestos, Radon, and IAQ analyses using advanced techniques like microscopy, liquid scintillation, and culture-based methods. Your precision and accuracy will be key to delivering reliable results.
· Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. Follow stringent laboratory guidelines and certifying body standards to ensure every analysis meets our rigorous criteria.
· Equipment Maintenance: Keep our lab running smoothly by performing preventative maintenance and repairs on essential laboratory equipment. Your technical skills will help prevent downtime and ensure accurate results.
· Inventory Management: Play a crucial role in maintaining our lab's efficiency by managing supplies and materials. Ensure we are always stocked and ready to tackle any challenge.
· Documentation: Be a guardian of our procedures and standards. Review and revise Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Manuals, and other controlled documents to keep our lab at the forefront of industry practices.
· Innovation: Drive progress by contributing to the development of new analytical methods and management system procedures. Your creativity and problem-solving skills will help us stay ahead of the curve.
· Technical Support: Be a go-to resource for technical expertise. Support your colleagues and clients with your knowledge and insights, helping them navigate complex challenges.

Physical Demands:
Able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 35 lbs. to chest height.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Associate or bachelor’s Degree in the Sciences preferred.
Experience: Hands-on lab experience preferred.
Other: Strong organization, communication, and computer skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma.
