Floor : 1st Building : Main hospital Radiology department General Information : Tell us about the unit(s) : Number of Beds – it is a procedural area (interventional Radiology) Number of Staff – currently 2 fulltime RN’s Type of staff : Day Shift – 1 CNC, FT RN and 1 PRN RN Night Shift - Patient Ratios – procedural area- average 8 procedures a day Type of equipment – moderate sedation is the primary function of the RN EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile : Skill Set Most recruited for : Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Moderate sedation experience ACLS Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. ICU- experience ER - experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Quintons, IVC filters, bone biopsy, liver biopsy, kidney biopsy Paracentesis, chest tube placement, IV starts Best personality Fit : Someone who can switch gears and works well under pressure Job Requirements RN Schedule Information On call once every three to four weeks depending on staffing. Call is one week, weekday call stay late for cases. Weekend call is typically scheduled the morning of.
