SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will be responsible for overseeing Infant Mental Health specialist (IMH) and all aspects of Home Based Services (HBS) including monitoring program fidelity. This individual will participate in consultation, treatment planning and monitoring services for individuals served. Will monitor the development and completion of Assessments, Pre-plans and Individual Plans of Service consistent with person centered planning guidelines. Provide supervision to staff employed within the HBS program and act as liaison for Wraparound Services. Maintain schedule for Mobile Intensive Crisis Stabilization Services (ICSS) and provide Mobile ICSS supervision.
Pay Rate: $71,500 - $98,779
FLSA: Exempt/Full-Time
Reports To: Director of Clinical and Support Services
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must possess a Masters Degree in social work and state licensure as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW). An Infant Mental Health Certificate is desirable but not required.
Experience: Must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with professional experience in the examinations, evaluation and treatment of minors and families.. Lived experience with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or substance use disorders valued. Experience working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary programming approach is also preferred.
Other: Must have Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record as determined by the agency.
Functional computer literacy is required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Demonstrate accurate assessment and understanding of diagnoses, utilizing the most recent edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association.
2. Demonstrates effective case recording in accordance with Person Centered Planning and Case Recording Guidelines established by the agency.
3. Responsible for adhering to budgetary guidelines relating to the program.
4. Provide supervision to the program’s IECS Specialist(s) and HBS staff.
5. May provide direct person-centered IECS services on a limited basis.
6. Provide supervision as required to meet fidelity.
7. Collaborate with community partners to support other existing services for infants, children and families.
8. Staff will be expected to participate in trainings aimed at the provision of services for individuals with co-occuring disorders.
9. Maintain schedule for Mobile Intensive Crisis Stabilization Services (ICSS) and provide Mobile ICSS supervision.
10. Participates as an active member of the Children's Diagnostic and Treatment Team.
11. Demonstrates knowledge of universal precautions, standards of practice including but not limited to confidentiality and recipient rights, and emergency protocol.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Performs other related duties as required.
2. May be requested to be involved in the Board’s continuous quality improvement program.
3. May be required to provide own transportation while performing agency-related duties.
