Job Title: Early Childhood Aide
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Aide to support the delivery of pre-school programs. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate with teachers, perform assigned duties, and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing developmental experiences for children, including activities in language, intellectual, social-emotional, and physical development.
- Manage the classroom to ensure a positive atmosphere for children, promoting their growth and well-being.
- Observe and identify the needs of classroom children without constant direction or supervision.
- Perform necessary personal care procedures as directed and trained.
- Assist children in and out of vehicle restraint systems.
- Interact physically with children indoors and outdoors, engaging them in activities while maintaining a safe and appropriate manner.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in caring for young children is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Closely monitor children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Possess close and distance vision.
- Often required to walk, stand, sit, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
