Director of Laboratory Services - Poplar and Trinity Campus
We are currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Director of Laboratory Services. The Laboratory Director is responsible for the management of all laboratory resources from staff to equipment to supplies.
The Director of Laboratory Services oversees the laboratory processes, performances, and interpretations of all testing within the Laboratory. The Director of Laboratory Services is responsible for the safe delivery of lab services on a 24/7 basis which includes patient care and legally working equipment. The Director of the Laboratory will establish adequate staffing plans for the NEMHS Laboratories provide staff orientation and competency training for all staff members, and train and mentor Medical Technologists to assume more supervisory duties. Requires exceptional leadership and laboratory skills along with knowledge of regulatory agencies. Must be currently licensed in the State of Montana as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist and be certified with one or more of the following national professional associations: ASCP, NCA or AMT. At least 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory is required. Previous experience in a clinical lab with progressively more responsible experience within the General Laboratory.
