Job Overview
Northeast Montana STAT Air Ambulance Cooperative, a non-profit EMS fixed-wing aviation service based in Glasgow, MT, is hiring for exceptional pilots to join our lifesaving mission! We have three high performance Pilatus PC-12 aircraft with state-of-the-art Garmin avionics, providing urgently required facility to facility transfer for patients between critical access hospitals and higher levels of care. Duties
- Operate and navigate aircraft in accordance with established regulations and safety protocols-- safety in operations and excellence in service are our top priorities!
- Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is in optimal condition for flight.
- Analyze weather conditions and make informed decisions regarding flight paths and safety measures.
- Work professionally and compassionately with our medical crews, patients, hospitals, and aviation partners.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and reports as required by aviation authorities.
- Maintain flight standards, training, and professional certifications
- Stay updated on changes in Federal Aviation Regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Valid pilot's license with appropriate ratings for the aircraft being operated.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills to assess flight conditions and make quick decisions.
- Exceptional time management skills
- Previous experience in EMS is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- For insurance purposes, minimums include: 3,000 hours Total Time; 1000 hours Complex Time; prefer 500 hours Pilatus PC-12 time, as well
