Position Summary Information
Summary
The Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
Principal Functional Responsibilities
Operational and Process Analysis : Conducts and / or facilitates operational and process analyses; translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.
Project Management : Coordinates the development and execution of test plans. Assists with project management, including initial review and analysis of requests, project planning and scheduling.
Documentation : Assists with creating documentation, procedures, presentations or training materials.
Software Evaluation : Assists in the evaluation of new software and new features and recommends appropriate strategies for their adoption.
Training : Facilitate training and provide support to business users on new systems or processes.
Testing : Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure the functionality of system solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, communications, or equivalent OR equivalent work experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience with creating documentation, training materials, requirements and testing plans; process analysis and project management; working with an integrated administrative computer system.

Available salary range : $52,087 - $66,412, commensurate with experience.
