What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator/Project Manager position at Northeast Ohio Trenching Service Inc.?
Our company is looking for a Civil Construction Estimator/Project Manager to estimate and manage underground utility and site projects. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, but also a team player who understands the importance of working with others and communicating effectively. We are looking for someone who is motivated, organized, and punctual. They should have the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels of the organization and the expert knowledge of all aspects of estimating and project management, including preparation, cost analysis, time management and quality control.
We focus on commercial civil construction i.e; public utility installations, municipal road reconstructions, private site development, etc.
7 years experience as a civil estimator & project manager required.
Responsibilities:
- Attend Pre-bid meetings
- Procure plans and specifications, Jobsite visits
- Prepare accurate estimates for the following: Dirt work, Earthwork clearing, cuts & fills, storm pipe and structures, wastewater pipe and manholes and water pipe.
- Manage project contract, schedule, change orders, billings, submittals, etc.

Pay: Salary $100,000 - $140,000 per year
